ABOUT ME

I'm a first-year college student who is as well rounded as it gets. This means being a collegiate student-athlete playing football and studying Multimedia Journalism at Northern Michigan University. As an all-state running back at Lake Orion High School, I was a part of the best high school broadcasting class in the country (determined by the National Federation of High Schools) and produced works in all phases of media. When I wasn't directing, anchoring on, or producing our school's daily live newscast, LO-AM, I could be found recording a stand-up for my latest news story, behind the mic in our podcast studio, or in the TV studio hosting my very own sports-talk show based on the resurrected XFL football league.

VIDEO PRODUCTION

My senior year of high school is when I began branching into video production, and have now decided to go full-time into freelance video and photography work. I am adept at all the different phases of video from pre-planning, choosing the right gear, the actual shooting of the project, editing and post-production, and giving my clients up to three revisions on every project to ensure their satisfaction.

WHAT GOES INTO MAKING A VIDEO?

Every video starts with great communication between the customer and I. Once I've got a good grasp of the intended purpose and style of the video, along with a deadline, I begin creating a shot list and formulating ideas.

After agreeing on a general direction of the video(s), we agree on a time and place and get to work! I will have things prepared by shoot day and waste little time getting all of the necessary content for the project.

Now that I have all the footage, I begin the editing process and start to piece together the project exactly how you want. Any suggestions you have for the desired look are encouraged so I can accurately replicate your vision.

The editing process is complete and I send you a draft that you hopefully love! If not, send me back a detailed list of changes you would like made and I will be happy to do so for up to three instances with no extra cost.

finally, the exciting part

I'm a FAA-certified drone pilot and am licensed to use it in all my shoots. This particular drone shoots 4K video, has a 48MP sensor, and can relay video transmission from up to six miles away.

Artlist is my music database of choice for all my videos because of its great licensing rules. Any song I use in my videos is protected from copyright charges forever. Even if I were to stop using it all past videos would be protected.

The Ronin-SC is a three-axis motorized gimbal. In other words, it ensures that I consistently have the steadiest video possible whether I'm simply walking following a subject or hanging out of a moving vehicle.

The Sony a6500 is my main workhorse for most of my video projects. It shoots crisp 4K video, has awesome customizable presets, and can adapt to any situation, making it versatile and a must-have.
